We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible and are encouraged to remain part of the wider community.
We are a “home from home” and a house manager is available to support the residents to live independently. Our kitchen manager and relief cook provide wonderful home cooked meals. Our cleaning staff, gardener and office assistant make up the team.
The rooms are mainly en-suite and unfurnished. Residents are encouraged bring their own furniture and possessions to make their transition to living here as comfortable as possible.
Residents get two home cooked meals a day and of course we cater to their dietary needs. As far as is possible we source our food from local producers, it keeps the quality high and the taste great.
Regular social activities are wide and varied depending on the interests of the current residents and what is available, these include a weekly coffee morning, old time music, Easter, summer, and Christmas events, as well as regular trips out and about in the local area – there is lots going on. Please see the events on the right here.
